UNIQUE LIVES & EXPERIENCES presents the four-part lecture series “Live and in Person” at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. Dates for the 2008 series are: February 5th , March 18th , April 7th, and May 30th. The scheduled speakers are:

Antonia Novello, first female U.S. Surgeon General, children's health advocate

Geena Davis, Academy Award winner, "The Image of Women In the Media"

Caroline Kennedy, public service advocate, an UL&E Exclusive Engagement

Judy Collins, American folk legend "A Journey of Suicide, Survival & Strength"

This very special, multi-evening lecture series is designed to motivate, challenge and enlighten anyone with a strong desire to learn from the variety of personal perspectives and life experiences of these distinguished women. While this is not a YWCA of Silicon Valley-sponsored event, we know the speakers will provide an evening of women's empowerment to all in attendance.
